My NYC Trip: A Day in Pictures

After my two day writing adventure exploring Philadelphia’s Gayborhood, my trip on Friday, April 19th, became more of squeeze in as much as I could see into one day with my dear friend and Saturday Zoom buddy, Deb!
1. Starting my morning at 7am at 30th Street Station catching Amtrak train to NYC.
2. My NYC adventure begins with my first visit to the World Trade Center memorial.
3. A quick visit to the Mysterious Bookshop.
4. We do lunch at the fabulous Laughing Man
5. We popped in at the Leslie Lohman Museum of Art
6A. We made our way to the SGI-USA New Add Your Heading Text HereYC Buddhist Cultural Center
6B. The center was closed but a gentleman named Yossi was kind enough to give us a tour.
7 . Took a trip to the Strand bookstore where I got a book on ayurveda.
8. At 5pm we arrived at the Swing 46 for dinner and a fantastic evening of Jazz!
9A. Not wanting the day to end, we went to the Trattoria Dell'Arte for a gluten -free dessert.
9B. I had an amazing day with my adventure buddy, Deb. The Jazz performance was great but my energy fueled by coffee and fumes had just enough left for the best gluten-free chocolate cannoli I ever have tasted in a long time.
